Section 13 AAC 04.004 - Sale or use of equipment(a) No person may sell or offer for sale or use a vehicle, equipment or device which does not meet the requirements of this chapter or other law. The provisions of this section do not apply to equipment that complies with requirements in effect before the effective date of this section and in use when this chapter takes effect, or to replacement parts of that equipment.(b) Any equipment described in this chapter or any package containing the equipment must, if practicable, bear the manufacturer's trade mark or brand name, unless the equipment complies with identification requirements of the United States Department of Transportation or other federal agencies.(c) No person engaged in the business of selling bicycles at retail may sell a bicycle unless the bicycle has an identifying number permanently stamped or cast on its frame.Eff. 6/28/79, Register 70
