Section 12 AAC 02.920 - Filing date
(a) Except as otherwise provided in this title, a document submitted to the division is considered filed as follows:
(1) for a document received by electronic mail, facsimile transmission, or hand delivered, the document is considered filed on the date stamped on the document;
(2) for a document uploaded to the MyAlaska professional licensing portal on the department's Internet website, the document is considered filed on the date the document was successfully uploaded;
(3) for a document received by mail, the document is considered filed on the postmark date of the document.
(b) If a filing deadline established in AS 08 or this title falls on a Saturday, Sunday, or state holiday, the deadline will be extended to the next regular state business day.
(c) For the purposes of this section, "postmark date" means the date of a document with prepaid postage and correctly addressed to the division by the United States Postal Service or other established domestic courier service.

For the purposes of 12 AAC 02.920(a), the division of corporations, business and professional licensing office in the Department of Commerce, Community, and Economic Development, in Juneau is located at the State Office Building, 9th Floor, 333 Willoughby Avenue, Juneau, Alaska 99801 and the division office in Anchorage is located at the Atwood Building, 550 W. 7th Avenue, Suite 1500, Anchorage, Alaska 99501.
