Section 11 AAC 16.120 - Eligibility

Privately owned state monuments or historic sites are eligible for funding under the Alaska Landmark Grant Program if

(1) the property is entered in the National Register of Historic Places;

(2) written consent of the owner has been received for nomination to the Alaska Landmark list;

(3) the Historic Sites Advisory Committee has recommended the governor declare by public order the property be officially designated a landmark;

(4) the governor has declared by public order the particular property to be an Alaska Landmark; and

(5) the owner agrees in writing that the property will be kept accessible to the general public.
