Section 930-X-1-.25 - Reinstatement(1) No licensee suspended for more than three months or whose license has been revoked or who has voluntarily resigned or surrendered his or her license may resume practice until reinstated by order of the Board.(2) A person who has been suspended for more than three months may not apply for reinstatement until the period of suspension has been terminated. A person who has had his or her license revoked after hearing or by consent may not apply for reinstatement until the end of at least one year from the effective date of the revocation or surrender of license.(3) Petitions for reinstatement by a licensee whose license has been revoked or suspended under this rule shall be filed with the executive director. Upon receipt of such petition by the Board, the executive director shall promptly set the petition for a hearing within twenty-eight days. At the hearing, the petitioner shall have the burden of demonstrating by clear and convincing evidence that he or she has the moral qualifications to practice veterinary medicine, veterinary technology or euthanasia technology in this state and that his or her resumption of the practice of veterinary medicine, veterinary technology or euthanasia technology within the state will not be detrimental to the integrity and standing of the licensed veterinarians, veterinary technicians or euthanasia technicians in the state.(4) Upon reinstatement, the Board shall transmit notice of such reinstatement to all parties to whom notice of discipline or transfer to inactive status due to disability were sent as provided herein.Ala.
