Section 870-X-1-.05 - Filling An Expired Or Unexpired Term

It is the responsibility of the Board chair to notify the Speech and Hearing Association of Alabama by registered mail in March of Board members whose terms will expire in September of that year. It is also the responsibility of the Board chair to inform the Speech and Hearing Association of Alabama immediately of any vacancy in an unexpired term. A successor shall be chosen by the Governor from not less than three persons submitted by the Speech and Hearing Association of Alabama.
