The investment staff will invest the fund's assets in the same type investments and subject to the same guidelines and limitations as applicable to investments made by the Teachers' and Employees' Retirement Systems and within the limitations provided in Section 4 of Act No. 82-776 (Code of Ala. 1975, §§ 36-27A-1 through 36-27A-7 ); provided, however, that this Board may approve investment in investment opportunities outside the scope of the Teachers' or Employees' Retirement Systems investment guidelines but within the statutory limitations.
