Section 797-X-4-.02 - Public Use

The facilities, services and programs of Red Mountain Park are open for use by all members of the public without regard to race, color, religion, sex, sexual orientation, age, national origin, or physical or mental disability. Park users shall abide by the following rules established for their safety:

(1) The Park generally shall be open to the public between 0700 and dusk of each day unless different operating hours are established by the Director for an area of the park and the hours are posted at the affected area.
(2) The Park or a section of the park may be declared closed to the public by the Director whenever the Director determines that the closing is necessary because of park conditions, weather, or for another reason that is in the public interest.
(3) A person, other than an authorized Commission employee or others authorized by the Director, may not trespass in the park or a section of the park while it is closed to the public.
(4) A person ordered or requested to leave park property by authorized personnel must do so immediately.
