Section 660-5-21-.04 - Use Of Putative Father Registry
(1) The Department shall, upon request, provide to any court the names and addresses of persons listed on the Putative Father Registry.
(2) The Department shall send a copy of putative father notice of intent to claim paternity registration form, to the court handling the adoption after receiving notice pursuant to Section 26-10-17 of the Code of Ala. 1975 of the pendency of an adoption proceeding if the proposed adoptee:
(a) was born within 300 days of the date or dates of sexual intercourse listed in the registry and
(b) was born to the same biological mother listed in the registry.
(3) A putative father intent to claim paternity registration form may be introduced into evidence in any proceeding in which the fact may be relevant, other than by the person who filed the registration with the Department.
