Section 580-2-17-.04 - Receiving
(1) Upon receipt of drugs, each shipment will have two packing slips or invoices. One of the packing slips or invoices must be stamped with a stamp furnished by the Department of Mental Health/Mental Retardation reading "I hereby certify that I have received and checked the items listed above, that they are authorized acquisitions and they are of the kind and quantity noted." The packing slip or invoice must be signed and dated by the pharmacist or other designated staff checking the order. The signed packing slip or invoice must be forwarded to the Coordinator of the Indigent Drug Program within five (5) working days.
(2) If an error is found in any drug shipment the Coordinator of the Indigent Drug Program must be notified immediately.
(3) Upon receipt of Schedule II drugs, the copy of the DEA order form will be completed as required by federal law.
