Section 305-7-2-.02 - Appointment Of Commission Members

(1) The initial appointments to the Commission shall be made for staggered terms in accordance with the provisions of the Act.

(2) Upon expiration of a Commission member's term, a successor shall be appointed by the appropriate appointing authority using the same basis as the initial appointment except the term shall be for six (6) years.

(3) At the expiration of a term of office, or in the event of a vacancy on the Commission, the appropriate appointing authority shall promptly make an appointment to fill the vacancy for the remainder of the term.
