Section 270-X-1-.01 - Oath Of Office

Pursuant to Code of Ala. 1975, § 34-9-40, each member of said Board, after his/her election or appointment and before entering upon the discharge of the duties of his/her office, shall take the following oath of office to be administered by the president as follows: "I,_________________, solemnly swear that I will support the Constitution of the United States, and the Constitution of the State of Alabama, so long as I continue a citizen thereof; and that I will faithfully and honestly discharge the duties of the office upon which I am about to enter, to the best of my ability. So help me God."
