ACTION:

30-Day information collection notice.

SUMMARY:

The Department of Defense has submitted to OMB for clearance the following proposal for collection of information under the provisions of the Paperwork Reduction Act.

DATES:

Consideration will be given to all comments received by October 16, 2019.

Type of Request: Revision.

Number of Respondents: 10,000.

Responses per Respondent: 1.

Annual Responses: 10,000.

Average Burden per Response: 30 minutes.

Annual Burden Hours: 5,000.

Needs and Uses: The information collection is needed to provide Service members a method to present to their respective Military Department Discharge Review Boards their reason/justification for a discharge upgrade as well as providing the Military Departments with the basic data needed to process the appeal.

Affected Public: Individuals or households.

Frequency: As required.

Respondent's Obligation: Voluntary.
