ACTION:

30-Day information collection notice.

SUMMARY:

The Department of Defense has submitted to OMB for clearance the following proposal for collection of information under the provisions of the Paperwork Reduction Act.

Consideration will be given to all comments received by October 16, 2019.

Type of Request: Revision.

Number of Respondents: 36,110.

Responses per Respondent: 1.

Annual Responses: 36,110.

Average Burden per Response: 30 minutes.

Annual Burden Hours: 18,055.

Needs and Uses: The information collected from the DD Form 149 is used by the respective Military Department Correction Boards to determine if an error or injustice has occurred in an individual's military record and to promulgate a correction based on justice, equity, and compassion.

Affected Public: Individuals or households.

Frequency: As required.

Respondent's Obligation: Voluntary.
