ACTION:

Proposed rule; extension of public comment period.

SUMMARY:

Notice is hereby given that the public comment period for the proposed rule for Special Areas; State Petitions for Inventoried Roadless Area Management, published in the Federal Register on July 16, 2004 (69 FR 42636), is being extended.

DATES:

Comments must be received on or before November 15, 2004.
