On June 13, 2018, BOX Options Exchange LLC (the “Exchange”) filed with the Securities and Exchange Commission (“Commission”), pursuant to Section 19(b)(1) of the Securities Exchange Act of 1934 and Rule 19b-4 thereunder, a proposed rule change to amend Exchange Rule 7300 (Preferenced Orders) to provide an additional allocation preference to Preferred Market Makers. The proposed rule change was published for comment in the Federal Register on July 2, 2018. The Commission received one comment letter on the proposal. On July 25, 2018, the Exchange withdrew the proposed rule change (SR-BOX-2018-20).
