ACTION:

Proposed rule.

SUMMARY:

The Commission requests comments on a petition for rule making filed by Donald Staats proposing the allotment of Channel 299A at Glenville, WV, as the community's first local aural transmission service. Channel 299A can be allotted to Glenville in compliance with the Commission's minimum distance separation requirements with a site restriction of 1.0 kilometers (0.6 miles) southwest of city reference coordinates. The coordinates for Channel 299A at Glenville are 38-55-43 North Latitude and 80-50-47 West Longitude.

DATES:

Comments must be filed on or before December 18, 2000, and reply comments on or before January 2, 2001.

Provisions of the Regulatory Flexibility Act of 1980 do not apply to this proceeding.
