Staker, Judge Pro Tem presiding on 8/24/17: The court intends to approve the Petition but reduce the ordinary commission and ordinary attorney's fees to $22,000 because of the tardiness of filling of various reports, especially the final petition. Extraordinary attorney fees to be reduced to $10,400. The amount of $5,600 to prepare the final petition and four hours to prepare the I & A seem excessive. Please note the estate should have been distributed out at least one year ago. Statutory interest of 10 percent on the estate for one year resulted in a loss to the estate of at least $80,000.
