SC-1 00, Item 3. Explanation of money owed continued: I intitally had called the offices 0f Sharon Barghi, DC regarding fees, prior t0 my Visit t0 see Sharon Barghi, DC. I was told N0 charge for lst Visit, by the person 0n phone, Which I later came t0 realize was Sharon herself. I was in pain & she convinced me t0 come in.The date I went in for service (1/23/ 19) I was in very bad pain, I reluctantly signed a contract under pressure by Ms. Barghi. I even mentioned I wanted time t0 think about, but she continued t0 pressure me, I reluctantly signed. The contract amount was $650, 0fWhich I paid $300 down. The very next day, I was still in pain, and felt very uncomfortable and dissatisfied With how poorly I was treated, and pressured into purcahsing a contract. I immediately went back in t0 speak With Sharon Barghi, DC t0 explain how I didn't feel comfortable With her services; and how I had recalled that my first Visit was supposed t0 be free. I tried t0 reason with her, but she immediately became infuriated & offended and began arguing With me. [She has an accent & high pitched voice which made it her very hard t0 understand & reason with her.] In order get out 0f the contract she requested payment for my Visit, and I reluctantly paid $175, and was only refunded $ 125 (by check). I was very dissapointed in having t0 d0 so, but given her inability t0 reason and refusal t0 refund me, I had t0 pay, t0 get out 0f the contract. A few months later, I was going through my credit card records, regarding another matter, and I did not recognize the charge 0n my bill. I innocently confused the charge with another vendor who also did not deliver 0n their service. So I had my credit card "dispute the charge." According t0 my Credit Card company [AARP-Chase Visa], they sent a "dispute inquiry" t0 the vendor [Dr. Barghi], and When a vendor does Not reply t0 their dispute inquiry, they refund the purchase. [In addition, the way the charge appeared 0n my Credit card, was unrecongnizable t0 me, similar t0 the vendor I thought the charge was related t0.] Never did Ms. Barghi reply t0 the credit card, 0r attempt t0 contact me t0 question 0r resolve the matter, instead she sued me. As soon as I was served the court papers, I immediately researched the matter, and went t0 see Ms. Barghi in person, t0 explain the confusion and resolve the matter. I explained my confusion and apologiezed, & explained how I had accidently confused her with another vendor.She continued to argue & her colleague became involved [speaking t0 her in another language]; she somewhat calmed down. I assumed he got her t0 understand, but she demanded I pay her the $300 by check instead (see CK#10486). I tried t0 explain how I had reversed the Credit Card reversal, and how I would need her to reverse the Double-overpayment back t0 me. [Unfortunately, once a Credit Card reversal has been reversed, the Credit Card company can NOT Re-Reverse it back t0 me.] Her colleague explained this t0 her, and she said she would do it. She was supposed t0 call the credit card company t0 reverse the re-payment/reversal. T0 date, she has NOT Done so. When I tried contacting her t0 remind her, she proceeded t0 threaten me if I ever reached out t0 her again. She said t0 read my email, but I had n0 email from her. [I only have the text messages she sent t0 me.]To date, I have not received the reversal, and I have the check she cashed.I am requesting the $300 (I doubly paid) in addition t0 the $175 I initially paid for the poor service and treatement I received.
