Case No. B-3838 SECOND SUPPLEMENTAL DECISION AND CERTIFICATION OF REPRESENTATIVES October L2, 19493 On July 15 , 1942 , the National Labor Relations Board issued a Decision and Direction of Elections in the above -entitled 'proceeding,) and on August 25, 1942, a Supplemental Decision and Direction of Run-off Elections .2 Pursuant to the Direction of Run-off Elections, run-off elections by secret ballot were conducted on September 10, 1942, under the direction and supervision of the Regional Director for the Nineteenth Region ( Seattle , Washington ). On September 15, 1942, the Regional Director , acting pursuant to Article III, Section 9, of National Labor Relations Board Rules and Regulations-Series 2, as amended, issued and duly served upon the parties -a Report on Run-off Elections . No objections to the conduct of the ballots or to the Report on Run-off Elections have been filed by any of the parties. I 0---------------------------------------------- 250 In the Decision and Direction of Elections previously referred to, the Board made no final determination as to-the appropriate unit or units. The Board there stated : Since we have previously found the I. A. M. unit to be appro- priate as a separate bargaining unit, and now find that it could be included in a larger production and maintenance unit, we shall direct that the employees in the I. A. M., unit indicate by vote whether they desire to continue being represented in a separate unit or wish to be represented as part of a production and mainte- nance unit. Upon the entire record in the case, the Board makes the following : SUPPLEMENTAL FINDINGS OF FACT We find that all employees in the machine shop of the, Company, including electricians, car men, millwrights, and their helpers, and John Bushong, but excluding supervisory employees, constitute a unit appropriate for the purposes of collective bargaining within the mean- ing of Section 9 (b) of the Act. We also find that all production and maintenance employees of the Company's mill operations, including W. D. Crawford and J. Robin- son, but excluding supervisory and clerical employees, conductors, brakemen, firemen, engineers, and hostlers on the Company's logging trains, employees, of the machine shop, electricians, car men, mill- wrights, and their helpers, and John Bushong, constitute a unit ap- propriate for the purposes of collective bargaining within the mean- ing of Section 9 (b) of the Act. CERTIFICATION OF REPRESENTATIVES By virtue of and pursuant to the power vested in the National Labor Relations Board by Section 9 (c) of the National Labor Relations Act, and pursuant to Article III, Sections 8 and 9, of National Labor Relations Board Rules and Regulations-Series 2, as amended. L., has been designated'and selected by a majority„ of all employees in the machine shop of Weyerhaeuser Timber Com=: pany, Klamath Falls, Oregon, including electricians, car men, mill- wrights, and their helpers, and John Busfong, but excluding super- visory employees, as their representative for the purposes of 'collective bargaining, and that, pursuant to Section 9 (a)• of the National Labor Relations Act, International Association of Machinists, Lodge No. 1473, A. F. L., is the exclusive representative of all such employees for the purposes of collective bargaining in respect to rates of pay, wages, hours of employment, and other conditions of employment. - IT IS FURTHER CERTIFIED that International Woodworkers of America, Local 6-12, C. I. 0., has been designated and selected by a majority of all production and maintenance employees of Weyerhaeuser Timber Company, Klamath Falls, Oregon, including W. D. Crawford and J. Robinson, but excluding supervisory and clerical employees, con- ductors, brakemen, firemen, engineers, and hostlers on the Company's logging trains, employees of the machine shop, electricians, car nmen, millwrights, and their helpers; and John Bushong, as their repre- sentative for the purposes of collective bargaining, and that pursuant to Section 9 (a) of the National Labor Relations Act, International Woodworkers of,America, Local 6-12, C.
