R-2458, R-459, and R-2460 CERTIFICATION OF REPRESENTATIVES June 17, 1941 On May 6, 1941, the National Labor Relations Board issued its Decision and Direction of Election in the above-entitled proceeding.l Pursuant to the Direction of Election, an election by secret ballot was conducted on May 20, 1941, under' the direction and supervision of the Regional Director for the Seventeenth' Region (Kansas City, Missouri). On May 21, 1941, the Regional Director, acting pursuant to Article III, Section 9, of National Labor Relations Board Rules and Regulations-Series 2, as amended, issued an Election Report, copies of which were duly served upon the parties. No objections to' the conduct of the ballot or to the Election Report were filed by any of the parties. F. of, L------------- 540 Votes cast against International Brotherhood of Bookbinders, Local No. 179, affiliated with the A F. of L-------------- 57 By virtue of and pursuant .to the power vested in the National Labor Relations Board by Section 9 (c) of the National Labor Re- lations.Act, 49 Stat. 449, and pursuant to Article III, Sections 8 and 9, of National Labor Relations Board Rules and Regulations-Series 2, as amended, IT IS HEREBY CERTIFIED that International Pressmen and Assistants Union of North America, Local No. 15, affiliated with the American Federation of Labor, has been designated and selected by a majority of all employees of Western Tablet and Stationery Company, St. Joseph, Missouri, working on printing, embossing, envelope printing, and multilith presses, including direct foremen, but excluding all executives above that rank, as their representative for the purposes of collective bargaining, and that, pursuant to Section 9 (a) of the Act, International Pressmen and Assistants Union of North America, Local No. 15, affiliated with the American Federation of Labor, is the exclusive representative of all such employees for the purposes of collective bargaining with respect to rates of pay, wages, hours of employment, and other conditions of employment; and, IT is HEREBY CERTIFIED that St. Joseph Typographical Union, Local No. 40, affiliated with International Typographical Union of North America, has been designated and selected by a majority of the em- ployees of Western Tablet and Stationery Company, St. Joseph, Mis- souri, working in the composing room, including direct foremen; but excluding all executives above that rank, as their representatives for WESTERN TABLET AND STATIONERY COMPANY 767 the purposes of collective bargaining, and that, pursuant to Section 9 (a) of the Act, St. Joseph Typographical Union, Local No. 40, affiliated with International Typographical Union of North America, is the exclusive representative of all such employees for the purposes of collective bargaining with respect to rates of pay, wages, hours of employment, and other conditions of employment; and IT IS HEREBY CERTIFIED that International Brotherhood of Book- binders, Local No. 179, affiliated with the American Federation of Labor, has been designated and selected by a majority of all binding, production, maintenance, warehousing, checking, and timekeeping employees of Western Tablet and Stationery Company, St. Joseph, Missouri, including direct foremen, but excluding all executives above that rank, as their representative for the purposes of collective bar- gaining, and that, pursuant to Section 9 (a) of the Act, International Brotherhood of Bookbinders, Local No. 179, affiliated with the Ameri- can Federation of Labor, is the exclusive representative of all such employees for the purposes of collective bargaining with respect to rates of pay, wages, hours of employment, and other conditions of employment.
