Case No. R-1716 CERTIFICATION OF REPRESENTATIVES June 4, 1940 On April 22, 1940, the National Labor Relations Board, herein called the Board, issued a Decision and Direction of Election in the above-entitled proceeding.' Pursuant to the Direction of Election, an election by secret ballot was conducted on May 17, 1940, under the direction and supervision of the Regional Director for the Tenth Region (Atlanta, Georgia). On May 21, 1940, the Regional Direc- tor, acting pursuant to Article III, Section 9, of National Labor Re- lations Board Rules and Regulations-Series 2, as amended, issued and duly served upon the parties an Election Report. No objec- tions to the conduct of the ballot or the Election Report have been filed by any of the parties. R: B., No. 24. 353 354 DECISIONS OF NATIONAL LABOR RELATIONS BOARD designated and selected by a majority of the production and main- tenance employees at the Anniston plant of Utica Knitting Company, excluding supervisory and clerical employees, as their representative for the purposes of collective bargaining, and that, pursuant to Sec- tion 9 (a) of the Act, Textile Workers Union of Amercia, affiliated with the Congress of Industrial Organizations, is the exclusive repre- sentative of all such employees for the purpose of collective bargain- ing in respect to rates of pay, wages, hours of employment, and other conditions of employment.
