On June 16, 1942, the National Laboi Relations Board issued a De-
cision and Direction of Election in the above-entitled proceeding.'
Pursuant to the Direction of Election, an election by secret ballot was
conducted on June 30, 1942, under the direction and supervision of the
Regional Director for the Eleventh Region (Indianapolis, Indiana)
On July 1, 1942, the Regional Director, acting pursuant to Article III,
Section 9, of National Labor Relations Board Rules and Regulations-
Series 2, as amended, issued and duly served upon the parties an
Election Report No objections to the conduct of the ballot or to the
Election Report have been filed by any of the parties

in the machinists department of its Indianapolis, Indiana, plant com-
monly known as department No 56, excluding employees in the main-
tenance department, and supervisory; clerical; and office employees, as
their i epresentative for the purposes of collective bargaining, and
that, pursuant to Section 9 (a) of the National Laboi Relations Act,
Local No 110 of the United Rubber Workers of America (CIO), is
the exclusive representative of all, such employees for tine purposes of
collective bargaining in respect to rates of pay, wages, hours of em-
