Pursuant to the Direction of Election, an election by secret ballot was conducted on January 21, 1942, under the direction and supervision of the Regional Director for the Tenth Region (Atlanta, Georgia). On January 24, 1942, the Regional Director, acting pur- suant to Article III, Section 9, of National Labor Relations Board Rules and Regulations-Series 2, as amended, issued and duly served upon the parties an Election Report. No objections to the conduct of the ballot or the Election Report have been filed by any of the parties. B, No. 233, 1308 UNITED STATES PIPE & FOUNDRY COMPANY 1309 of all office employees, timekeepers, and employees working in the production and maintenance departments who spend the majority of their time in clerical work, employed by the Company at its Bessemer, Alabama, plant, including Bruner, Barnett, Howard, Knight, Harris, Sides, and Whatley, but excluding supervisory em- ployees, the draftsmen, the safety engineer, the nurse, Bainbridge, Bradford, Roberts, Kinard, Green, and Paschal, as their representa- tive for the purposes of collective bargaining, and that, pursuant to Section 9 (a) of the National Labor Relations Act, Federal Union #19403, American Federation of Labor, is the exclusive representative of all such employees for the purposes of collective bargaining in' respect to rates of pay, wages, hours of employment, and other condi- tions of employment.
