I. O. Case No. R-2196 CERTIFICATION OF REPRESENTATIVES March 11, 1941 On January 24, 1941, the National Labor Relations Board issued its Decision and Direction of Election in the above-entitled proceed- ing.' Pursuant to the Direction of Election an election by secret ballot was conducted on February 13, 1941, under the direction and supervision of the Acting Regional Director for the Second Region (New York City). On February 17, 1941, the Acting Regional Director, acting pursuant to Article III, Section 9, of National Labor Relations Board Rules and Regulations-Series 2, as amended, issued his Election Report, copies of which were duly served upon the parties. No objections to the conduct of the ballot or to the Election Report have been filed by any of the parties. I. 0. has been designated and selected by a majority of all the employees in the production departments of United Scientific Laboratories, Inc., New York City; including working supervisors, but excluding -engineering, labora- tory, watchmen, porters, maintenance, and toolroom, time-study men, timekeepers, experimental workers, foremen, non-working supervi- sors, stockroom employees, shipping and receiving-room employees, office, clerical, and all other non-production employees, as their rep- resentative for the purposes of collective bargaining, and that, pur- suant to the provisions of Section 9 (a) of the Act, Local 430 of the' United Electrical Radio & Machine Workers of America, C. I. 0., is the execlusive representative of all such employees for the purposes of collective bargaining in respect to rates of pay, wages, hours of employment, and other conditions of employment.
