C-446 and 8-586, respectively SUPPLEMENTARY DECISION AND ORDER January 12, 1939 On June 1, 1938, the National Labor Relations Board, herein called the Board, issued a Decision, Order and Direction of Election 1 in the above-entitled proceeding, the election to be held at such time as the Board should thereafter direct, under the direction and super- vision of the Regional Director for the Sixteenth Region (Fort Worth, Texas). On October 1 the Board amended its Direction of Election 2 by striking therefrom the words "at such time as the Board shall hereafter direct as stated in Section IX of the above decision" and substituting therefor the words "within fifteen (15) days from September 30, 1938." On October 10 the Board further amended its Direction of Election, as amended,' by striking therefrom said amendment made on October 1. By letter dated December 21, 1938, to the Regional Director, Oil Workers International Union, by H. C. Fremming, its president, requested that the representation proceeding be dismissed. ORDER By virtue of Section 9 (c) of the National Labor Relations Act, 49 Stat. 449, and pursuant to Article III, Section 8, of National, Labor Relations Board Rules and Regulations-Series 1, as amended, IT IS HEREBY ORDERED that the petition and amended petition for investigation and certification of representatives of employees of United Carbon Company, Inc., Borger, Texas, filed by Oil Workers International Union, Local 236, be, and they hereby are, dismissed. 17 N.
