Case No. R-3533 -CERTIFICATION OF REPRESENTATIVES April 11, 1942 On March 7, 1942, the National Labor Relations Board, herein called the Board, issued a Decision and Direction of Election in the above-entitled proceedings., On March 23, 1942, the Board issued an Amendment to Decision and Direction of Election.' Pursuant to the Direction of Election, as amended; an election by secret ballot was conducted on March 30, 1942, under the direction and supervision of the Regional Director for the Second Region (New York City). On April 1, 1942, the Regional Director, acting pursuant to Article III, Section 9, of National Labor Relations Board Rules and Regulations- Series 2, as amended, issued and duly served upon the parties an Elec- tion Report on the ballot. No objections to the conduct of the ballot or the Election Report have been filed by any of the parties. IT IS HEREBY CERTIFIED that Screen, Office and Professional Em- ployees Guild, Local 109, U. O. P. W. A., affiliated with the Congress of Industrial Organizations, has been designated and selected by a majority of all office, clerical, secretarial, and accounting employees at the offices of Twentieth Century Fox Film Corp. and Movietonews, Inc., New York City, at 444 West 56th Street, 448 West 56th Street, 850 Tenth Avenue, 460 West 54th Street, and 30 Rockefeller Plaza, all in New York City, including bookkeepers, receptionists, telephone and telegraph operators, auditors, office boys, comptometer operators, accountants, billing and bookkeeping machine operators, cashiers, typing clerks, secretaries, requisition department clerks, mail clerks, stenographers, messengers, typists, reproduction machine operators, general clerks, tabulation operators, statisticians, and copyright li- brarians, but excluding executives, officers, traveling auditors, lawyers, engineers, maintenance employees, publicists, readers, translators,- supervisory employees having the right to hire and discharge, persons having the duty to recommend the hiring, discharging, wage increases or other adjustments of working conditions, and employees who are eligible for membership in labor organizations other than the union herein involved, as their representative for the purposes of collective bargaining, and that, pursuant to, Section 9 (a) of the Act, Screen, Office and Professional Employees Guild, Local 109, U. O. P. W.
