R-1025 and R-1026 respectively SUPPLEMENTAL DECISION AND ORDER December 1, 193.9 On December 27, 1938, the National Labor Relations Board, herein called the Board, issued a Decision and Direction of Elections in the above-entitled proceedings.' On February 8, 1939, the Board issued an Amendment to Direction of Elections.2 The Direction of Elections, as amended, provided that elections by secret ballot be conducted as soon as convenient and beginning as promptly as practicable after the date of the Direction, under the direction and supervision of the Regional Director for the Second Region, among those employees of The Texas Company, herein called the Company, who fell within the groups described below: (1) among the radio operators of all the vessels owned and operated under the American flag by the Company, to determines whether or not they desired to be represented by Ameri- can Communications Association, Marine Division, for the purposes of collective bargaining; and (2) among the engineers of all vessels owned and operated under the American flag by the Company to determine whether or not they desired to be represented by Marine Engineers' Beneficial Association, for the purposes of collective bargaining. Pursuant to the Direction of Elections, as amended, elections by secret ballot were conducted among the above-described employees of the Company, under the direction and supervision of the Regional Director for the Second Region. No objections to the conduct of the ballot or to the Election Report have been filed by any of the parties. The petitions for investigation and certification of representa- tives of employees of The Texas Company will therefore be dismissed.
