On July 6, 1948, Thalhimer Brothers, Inc., herein called the Em- -ployer, filed a motion for clarification of the Board's Decision and Direction of Election on the grounds that the Board failed to indicate its views in regard to an alleged "dispute" between the parties as to whether or not the Employer operates four separate warehouses, or only one with warehousing activities in the remaining three buildings. It is the Employer's contention that by failing to resolve this issue, the Board has placed in doubt the inclusion or exclusion of employees from the unit in the four buildings involved. More specifically, the Employer requests clarification as to the status of : (1) employees in the Process Section on the fifth floor of the Sydnor and Hundley Building engaged in the handling, trucking, checking, and marking of merchan- dise for the selling department, and the return of surplus merchandise -to the second, third or fourth floors for warehousing; (2) employees employed in the display workroom in the Sydnor and Hundley Build- ing; (3) employees employed in the furniture repair room in the Sixth and Cary Street Building: (4) employees employed in the floor cover- ing workroom in the Sixth and Cary Street Building; and (5) employ- ees employed in the electrical appliance repair workroom in the Clay Street Building. The Petitioner, on the other hand, in its reply to the motion of the Employer, contends that the unit found appropriate by the Board in its Decision and Direction of Election needs no further Copy with citationCopy as parenthetical citation
