Pursuant to the Direction of Elections, separate elections by secret, ballot were conducted on June 16, 1942, under the direction and super- vision of the Regional Director for the Second Region (New York City). On June 19, 1942, the Regional Director, acting pursuant to Article III, Section 9, of National Labor Relations Board Rules and Regulations-Seises 2, as amended, issued an Elections Report, copies of which were duly seived upon the parties No objections to the conduct of the ballot or to the Elections Report have been filed by any of the parties As to the balloting and the iesults thereof, the Regional Director i eported as follows. IT IS HEREBY CERTIFIED that Newspaper Guild of New York, of American Newspaper Guild, affiliated with the Congress of Indus- trial Organizations, has been designated and selected by a majority of all mailing and distribution employees, central files, library, and Raiteri statistical employees at the New York office of Standard & Poor's Corporation, New York City, including breakdown employees and temporary employees replacing those presently in the armed forces, but excluding supervisory and confidential employees, and seasonal employees, as their representative for the purposes of col- lective bargaining, and that, pursuant to Section 9 (a) of the Act, Newspaper Guild of New York, of American Newspaper Guild, affiliated with the Congress of Industrial Organizations, is the ex- clusive representative of all such employees for the purposes of collective bargaining in respect to rates of pay,- wages, hours of employment, and other conditions of employment 118 DECISIONS OF NATIONAL LABOR RELATIONS BOARD IT IS HEREBY CERTIFIED that Standard & Poor's Independent Asso- ciation has been designated and selected by a majority of all remaining employees at the New York office of Standard & Poor's Corporation, New York City, including temporary employees " re- placing those presently in the armed forces, but excluding super- visory and confidential employees, and seasonal employees, as their representative' for the purposes=of collective bargaining, and that, pursuant to Section 9 (a), of the Act, Standard & Poor's Independent Association is the exclusive representative of all such employees for the purposes of collective baigaining in respect to rates of pay, wages, hours of employment, and other conditions of employment.
