SUPPLEMENTAL DECISION
AND
ORDER
March 31, 1941
On February 14, 1941, the National Labor Relations Board, issued
a Decision and Direction of Election in this proceeding Pursuant
to the,Direction of Election, an election by secret ballot was conducted
on March 7, 1941, by the Regional Director for the Tenth Region
(Atlanta, Georgia). On March 12, 1941, the Regional Director, act-
ing pursuant to Article III, Section 9, of National Labor Relations
Board Rules and Regulations-Series 2, as amended, issued and duly
served upon the parties an Election Report.
As to the balloting and its results, the Regional Director reported
as follows :

Total number of ballots cast for Forest City Lodge No. 23,
International Association of Machinists, affiliated with the

No objection to the conduct of the ballot or to the Election Report
have been filed by any of the parties.
The results of the election show that no collective bargaining repre-
sentative has been selected by a majority of the employees of the
Company in the unit heretofore found to be appropriate for collec-

tive bargaining. We shall, therefore, dismiss the petition for investi-
gation and certification of representatives of employees • of the
Com9any.
- ORDER
By virtue of Section 9 (c) of ft National Labor Relations Act,
49 Stat. 449, and pursuant to Article III, Sections 8 and 9, of Na-
tional Labor Relations Board Rules and Regulations-Series 2, as
amended,
IT IS HEREBY ORDERED that the petition for investigation and certi-
fication of representatives of employees of Savannah Sugar Refining
Corporation, Port Wentworth, Georgia, filed by Forest City Lodge
#23, International Association of Machinists, affiliated with the
American Federation of Labor, be, and hereby is, dismissed.
