ORDER PERMITTING WITHDRAWAL OF PETITION
October 30, 1939
The Board, on August 16, 1938, having issued a Decision, Order
and Direction of Election in the above-entitled cases,' and Furniture
Workers Union, Local 1561, A. F. L., having requested permission
to withdraw its petition for investigation and certification of repre-
sentatives in Case No. R-554, and the Board, on October 13, 1939,
having given due notice that on October 24, 1939, or as soon there-
after as might be convenient, it would permit the withdrawal of
the said petition, unless sufficient cause to the contrary should then
appear, and no objections having been, filed with the Board,
IT IS HEREBY ORDERED that the request of Furniture Workers Union,
Local 1561, A. F. L., for permission to withdraw its petition in Case
No. R-554 be, and it hereby is, granted, and that Case No. R-554
be, and it hereby is, closed.
