Pursuant to the Direction of Election , an election by secret ballot was conducted on June 11, 1942, under the direction and supervision of the Acting Regional Director for the Tenth Region (Atlanta , Georgia) On June 13 , 1942, the Acting Regional Director , acting pursuant to Article III, Section 9, of National Labor Relations Board Rules and Regulations-Series 2, as amended, issued and duly served upon the parties an Election Report on the ballot No objections to the conduct of the ballot or the Election Report have been filed by any of the parties As to the balloting and its results, the Acting Regional Director re- ported as follows : Approximate number eligible voters__________________________ 35 Total ballots cast 2 ------------------------------------------ 34 Total ballots challenged_____________________________________ 2 Total void ballots___________________________________________ 3 Total valid ballots counted ----------------------------------- 31 Votes cast for Steel Workeis Organizing Committee (C I 0 ) __ 14 Votes- cast against Steel Workers Organizing Committee) - (C I 0 )------------------------------------------------ 17 The results of the election show that no collective bargaining repre- sentative has been selected by a majority of the employees The pe- tition for investigation and certification of representatives of em- ployees of A M Siskin & Garrison Siskin, doing business as R.
