Pursuant to the Direction of Election, an election by,secret ballot was conducted on February 27, 1941, under the direction and supervision of the Acting Regional 'Director for the Thirteenth Re- gion (Chicago, Illinois). On February 28, 1941, the Acting Regional Director, acting pursuant to Article III, Section 9, of National Labor Relations Board Rules and Regulations-Series 2, as amended, issued and duly served upon the parties to the proceeding his Election Report. B., No. 59. - 380 PULLMAN-STANDARD CAR MANUFACTURING CO. 3381 ployees, watchmen, shop engineering employees on the hourly pay roll, and powerhouse employees, but excluding general office employees, foremen, assistant foremen, nurses, the chief of police, the safety di- rector, the assistant safety director, shop engineering employees on a monthly pay roll, shop clerks on a monthly pay roll, time checkers on a monthly pay roll, the office janitor, and the sprinkler, as their repre- sentative for the purposes of collective bargaining and that pursuant to the provisions of Section 9 (a) ' of the National Labor Relations Act, Brotherhood Railway Carmen of America is'the exclusive repre- sentative of all such employees for the purposes of collective bargain- ing in respect to rates of pay, wages, hours of employment, and other conditions of employment..
