On April 1, 1942- the National Labor Relations Board, issued a
Decision and Direction of Election 1 and on April 24, 1942, an Amend-
ment to Dii ection of Election,2 in the above-entitled pi oceedmg Pur-
suant to the Direction of Election, as amended,-an election by secret
ballot wo s conducted on April 28, 1942, under the direction and sripei-
visionaof the Regional Director for the Eleventh Region (Indianap-
olis, Indiana) On May 1, 1942, the Regional Director, acting pur-
suant to Article III, Section 9 of National Labor Relations Board
Rules and Regulations-Series 2, as amended, issued and duly served
upon the parties an Election Report
As to the balloting and its results, the Regional Director reported

tions to the Election Report On May 29, 1942, the Regional Director

finding in effect that the objections raised no material or substantial

issue with respect to the conduct of the ballot The Board has consid-
ered the Election Report, and the objectioiis thereto, and the Report on'
Objections, and finds that the objections raised no material or substan-
tial issue with respect to the conduct of the election of the Election
Report The objections are accordingly overruled
CERTIFICATION OF REPRESENTATIVES
By virtue of and pursuant to the power vested in the National Labor
Relations Boaid by Section 9 (c) of National Labor Relations Act,
49 Stat 449, and pursuant to Article III, Sections 8 and 9, of National
Labor Relations Board Rules and Regulations-Seiies 2, as amended
IT IS HEREBY CERTIFIED that International Brotherhood of Black-
smiths, Drop Forgeis, and Helpers, Local No 620, affiliated with the
A F. of L , has been designated and selected by a majority of all pro-
duction and maintenance employees of Portland Forge and Foundry
Co, Portland, Indiana, excluding all foremen, clerical woikeis, truck
drivers, and "dock workers," as their representative for the purposes
of collective bargaining- and that, pursuant to Section 9 (a) of the
Act, International Brotherhood of Blacksmiths, Drop Forgers, and
Helpers, Local No 620, affiliated with the A F of L, is the exclusive
representative of all such employees for the purposes of collective bar-
gaining with respect to rates of pay, wages, hours of employment, and
other conditions of employment
