Feb. 5, 2015) Copy Citation San Leandro, CA UNITED STATES OF AMERICA BEFORE THE NATIONAL LABOR RELATIONS BOARD PARAMEDICS PLUS, LLC. Employer and Case 32-RC-132094 NATIONAL ASSOCIATION OF GOVERNMENT EMPLOYEES/SEIU LOCAL 5000 Petitioner and NATIONAL EMERGENCY MEDICAL SERVICES ASSOCIATION (NEMSA) Intervenor and UNITED EMERGENCY MEDICAL SERVICES WORKERS, AFSCME LOCAL 4911, AFL-CIO Intervenor DECISION AND ORDER REMANDING The National Labor Relations Board, by a three-member panel, has considered objections to an election conducted by mail ballot between August 4 and August 18, 2014, and the Regional Director’s report recommending disposition of them. The election was conducted pursuant to a Stipulated Election Agreement. The tally of ballots shows 201 for the Petitioner, 33 for National Emergency Medical Services Association (NEMSA), and 11 for United Emergency Medical Services Workers, AFSCME Local 4911, AFL-CIO, 1 against participating labor organizations, with 2 void ballots and 1 challenged ballot, an insufficient number to affect the results. The Board has reviewed the Report on Objections in light of the exceptions and has adopted the Regional Director’s findings and recommendations, except that we find that Intervenor NEMSA’s Objections 2–4 raise substantial and material issues warranting further investigation. Thus, we remand this case to the Regional Director for further investigation and a hearing, if necessary, with respect to the Objections 2, 3, and 4. ORDER IT IS ORDERED that this case is remanded to the Regional Director for further appropriate action consistent with this decision. Dated, Washington, D.C., February 5, 2015. ___________________________________ Mark Gaston Pearce, Chairman ___________________________________ Philip A.
