Employer and GOVERNED UNITED SECURITY PROFESSIONALS Petitioner Case 05-RC-119929 DECISION AND CERTIFICATION OF REPRESENTATIVE The National Labor Relations Board has considered objections to a mail ballot election held between February 3 and February 18, 2014, and the Regional Director's report recommending disposition of them. The election was conducted pursuant to a Stipulated Election Agreement. The tally of ballots shows 37 ballots cast for the Petitioner, 86 ballots cast for the Intervenor,1 and 2 ballots cast against the participating labor organizations. There were 14 void ballots and 3 challenged ballots, an insufficient number to affect the results. No exceptions have been filed to the Regional Director's report within the time provided. Accordingly, the Board adopts the Regional Director's findings and recommendations, and finds that a certification of representative should be issued.2 1 International Union, Security, Police and Fire Professionals of America (SPFPA), Local 555. 2 The Regional Director recommended overruling the Petitioner’s objections in their entirety. CERTIFICATION OF REPRESENTATIVE IT IS CERTIFIED that a majority of the valid ballots have been cast for International Union, Security, Police and Fire Professionals of America (SPFPA), Local 555 and that it is the exclusive collective-bargaining representative of the employees in the following appropriate unit: "All full-time and regular part-time employees employed by the Employer at the Social Security Administration's national headquarters, Security "West" and National Computer Center facilities in Woodlawn, Maryland; but excluding all office clerical employees, professionals employees, participants in the pr-hiring training programs, managerial personnel, confidential employees, lieutenants, captains, and supervisors as defined [in] the Act."
