On June 30, 1938, the Board issued an Amend- ment to Direction of Election 32 whereby it directed that the election be postponed indefinitely. On October 24, 1939, the Board issued a Supplemental Decision and Second Amendment to Direction of Elec- tion.' Pursuant to the Direction of Election and amendments there- to, air election by secret ballot was conducted by mail, and the bal- lots counted on December 6, 1939, under the direction and supervision of the Regional Director for the Nineteenth Region (Seattle, Wash- ington). On December 12, 1939, the Regional Director, acting pur- suant to Article III, Section 9, of the National Labor Relations Board Rules and Regulations-Series 2, issued an Election Report, copies of which were duly served on the parties. No objections to the conduct of the ballot or the Election Report have been filed by any of the parties. Relations Board Rules and Regulations- Series 2, IT IS HEREBY CERTIFIED that Northwest Lumber Inspectors' Union, Local No. 20,877, affiliated with the American Federation of Labor, has been designated and selected by a majority of the lumber in- spectors of Pacific Lumber Inspection Bureau in the States of Ore- gon and Washington, excluding clerical and supervisory employees, as their representative for the purposes of collective bargaining, and that, pursuant to Section 9 (a) of the Act, Northwest Lumber In- spectors' Union, Local No. 20,877, affiliated with the American Fed- eration of Labor, is the exclusive representative of all such employees for the purposes of collective bargaining with respect to rates of pay, wages, hours of employment, and other conditions of employ- ment.
