F. OF L., PETITIONER Case No. 17D-B-55 ORDER AMENDING DECISION AND DIRECTION OF ELECTION March 25, 1948 The Board on February 4, 1948, issued its Decision and Direction of Election in the above-entitled proceeding, providing for an election among all production and maintenance employees of the Employer at its Denver, Colorado, plant, excluding office and clerical employees, salesmen, chemists, the head miller (or mill foreman), the commercial feed plant foreman and all other supervisors as defined in the Act. In that decision the United Retail, Wholesale and Department Store Employees Union, Local 269, was denied a place on the ballot because it had failed to comply with the filing requirements of Section 9 (f) and (h) of the Act. On March 22, 1948, the Regional Director advised the Board that it had complied with the provisions of Section 9 (f) and (h) of the Act, and requested modification of the Decision and Direction of Election to permit the name of the United Retail, Wholesale and Department Store Employees Union, Local 269, to appear on the ballot. It appearing that the United Retail, Wholesale and Depart- ment Store Employees Union, Local 269, is now in compliance with the filing requirements of Section 9 (f) and (h) of the Act, the Decision and Direction of Election will be amended accordingly. IT IS HEREBY ORDERED that the Decision and Direction of Election in these proceedings issued February 4, 1948, be, and it hereby is, amended by according the United Retail, Wholesale and Department Store Employees Union, Local 269, a place on the ballot. 76 N.
