Case No. R-2447 SUPPLEMENTAL DECISION AND ORDER June 18, 1941 On May 8, 1941, the National Labor Relations Board issued a De- cision and Direction of Election in the above-entitled proceedings! Pursuant to the Direction of Election, an election by secret ballot was conducted on May 28, 1941, under the direction and supervision of the Regional Director for the First Region (Boston, Massachusetts). On May 29, 1941, the Regional Director, acting pursuant to Article III, Section 9, of National Labor Relations Board Rules and Regula- tions-Series 2, as amended, issued and duly served upon the parties an Election Report. No objections to the conduct of the ballot or the Election Report have been filed by any of the parties. As to the balloting and its results, the Regional Director reported as follows Total number eligible to vote--------------------------------- 86 Total number of votes cast __________________________________ 84 Total number of valid votes cast____________________________ 83 Total number of ballots marked "Yes"_______ ________ 23 Total number of ballots marked "No"________________________ 60 Total number of blank ballots _______________________________ 0 Total number of void ballots________________________________'_ 1 Total number of challenged ballots -- ------------------------- 0 The results of the election show that no collective bargaining repre- sentative has been selected by a majority of the employees in the unit heretofore found to be appropriate for the purposes of collective bar- gaining. The petition for investigation and certification of repre- sentatives of employees of Moulton Ladder Manufacturing Company, Somerville, Massachusetts, will therefore be dismissed. 131 N. L R.
