Case No. R-2960 SUPPLEMENTAL DECISION AND ORDER October 30, 1941 On September 24, 1941, the National Labor Relations Board issued a Decision and Direction of Election in the above-entitled proceed- illgs.1 Pursuant to the Direction of Election, an election by. secret ballot was conducted on October 8, 1941, under the direction and super- vision of the Regional Director for the First Region (Boston, Massa- chusetts). On October 9, 1941, the Regional Director, acting pursuant to Article III, Section 9, of National Labor Relations Board Rules and Regulations-Series 2, as amended, issued and duly served upon the parties an Election Report. No objections to the conduct of the ballot or to the Election Report have been filed by any of the parties. As to the balloting and its results, the Regional Director reported as follows : Total number eligible to vote_______________________________ 78 Total number of votes cast____________________________________ 64 Total number of valid votes___________________________________ 64 Total number of ballots marked for "yes"_______________________ 22 Total number of ballots . marked for-"no ---------- ---------------- 42 Total number of blank ballots________________________________ 0 Total number of void ballots__________________________________ 0 Total number of challenged ballots___ __________________________ 0 The results of the election show that no collective bargaining repre- sentative has been selected by a majority of the employees of the Com- pany in the unit heretofore found to be appropriate for collective bar- gaining. Dover, New Hampshire, filed by Bakery- and Confectionery Workers Inter- national Union, Local'484 (A. F. of L.) be, and it hereby is, dismissed. MR. GERARn D.
