Case No. R-1793 CERTIFICATION OF REPRESENTATIVES July 10, 19-110 On May 15, 1940, the National Labor Relations Board issued a Decision and Direction of Election 1 in the above-entitled proceed- ings. Pursuant to the Direction of Election, an election by secret ballot was conducted on June 12, 1940, under the direction and super- vision of the Regional Director for the Second Region (New York City). On June 17, 1940, the Regional Director, acting pursuant to Article III, Section 9, of National Labor Relations Board Rules and Regulations-Series 2, as amended, issued and duly served upon the parties her Election Report. No objections to the conduct of the ballot or the Election Report have been filed by any of the parties. I. 0., has been designated 123N.L.R B 793 25 N L. R. B, No. 3S 292 LEWIS STEEL PRODUCTS CORP. 293 and selected by a majority of all employees of Lewis Steel Products Corp., Brooklyn, New York, excluding officers, plant superintendents, foremen, foreladies, sweepers, errand boys, office and clerical workers. and designers, as their representative for the purposes of collective bargaining, and that, pursuant to the provisions of Section 9 (a) of the National Labor Relations Act, Local 1225 of the United Electrical, Radio & Machine Workers of America, C. I. 0., is the exclusive rep- resentative of all such employees for the purposes of collective bar- gaining in respect to rates of pay, wages, hours of employment, and other conditions of employment.
