I. O. Case No. R-2284 CERTIFICATION OF REPRESENTATIVES March 31, 1941 On February 21, 1941 , the National Labor Relations Board issued a Decision and Direction of Election in the above-entitled proceed- ings.' Pursuant to the Direction of Election , an election by secret ballot was conducted on March 7 , 1941 , under the direction and super- vision of the Regional Director for the Eighteenth Region (Minne- apolis, Minnesota ). On March 11 , 1941 , the Regional Director , acting pursuant to Article III, Section 9, of National Labor Relations Board Rules and Regulations-Series 2, as amended , issued and duly served upon the parties an Election Report . No objections to the conduct of the ballot or the Election Report have been filed by any of the parties. B., No. 115. 733 734 DECISIONS OF NATIONAL LABOR RELATIONS BOARD by a majority of the watchmen, policemen, and firemen at the Ottumwa plant of,John Morrell &,Co., Ottumwa, Iowa, excluding department heads and supervisors, watchmen at Foster homes, and temporary employees, as their representative for the purposes of collective bar- gaining, and that, pursuant to Section 9 (a) of National Labor Rela- tions Act, Local Union No. 1, United Packinghouse Workers of "Amer- ica, of Packinghouse Workers' Organizing Committee, affiliated with the C. I. 0., is -the exclusive representative of all such employees for the purposes of collective bargaining in respect to rates of pay, wages, hours of employment, and other conditions of employment.
