Case No. R-322-It CERTIFICATION OF REPRESENTATIVES January 16, 1942 On December 5, 1941, the National Labor Relations Board issued a Decision and Direction of Election in the above-entitled proceed- ing.' Pursuant to the Direction of Election, an election by secret ballot was conducted on December 23, 1941, under the direction and supervision of the Regional Director for the Second Region (New York City). On December 26, 1941, the Regional Director, acting pursuant to Article III, Section 9, of National Labor Relations Board Rules and Regulations-Series 2, as amended, duly issued and served upon the parties an Election Report. No objections to the conduct of the ballot or to the Election Report have been filed by any of the parties. I. 0., has been designated and selected by a majority of all production employees, luggers, checkers, strip- pers, kettlemen, nailers, sealers, box liners, blenders, porters, strap- pers, laboratory workers, and shipping and maintenance employees employed by the Company at its First Avenue, New York City plant, exclusive of the superintendent and plant engineer, as their repre- sentative for the purposes of collective bargaining, and that, pursuant to the provisions of Section 9 (a) of the National Labor Relations Act, United Preserved Fish and Food Packers Union, Local 105, C. I. 0., is the exclusive representative of all such employees for the purposes of collective bargaining with respect to rates of pay, wages, hours of employment, and other conditions of employment.
