DECISION AND CERTIFICATION OF REPRESENTATIVES STATEMENT OF THE CASE Upon petition duly filed by International Union, United -Auto- mobile, Aircraft & Agricultural Implement Workers of America, C. I. 0., herein- called the C. I. 0., alleging that a' question affecting commerce had arisen concerning the representation of employees of Grieder Machine' Tool & Die Company, herein called the .Company, engaged in Bowling Green, Ohio, in the manufacture of precision parts, pilot gears, gun slides, parts for powder hoists, fuse-setter parts, and other gun and machine tool parts, the National Labor Relations Board provided for an appropriate -bearing upon due notice. On July 16, 1942,• before a hearing was held, the Company, the C. I. 0., the American Federation of Labor, herein called the A. F. of L., and an Attorney for the Eighth Region (Cleveland, Ohio) entered into a "Stipulation for Certification Upon Consent Election." Pursuant to the stipulation, an election by secret ballot was con- ducted on July 27, 1942, under the direction ' and' supervision of the Acting Regional Director, among all employees of the Company em- ployed at its Bowling Green, Ohio, plant, except supervisory and clerical employees, specifically excluding from such unit Frank Strother, plant superintendent, Ray Taylor, William Beck, and Ernest 43 N. F. of L., for the purposes of collective bargaining, it by neither. On July 29, 1942, the Acting Regional Director issued and. duly served on the parties an Election Report on the ballot. No objections to the conduct of the ballot or the Election Report have been filed by any of the parties. A question affecting commerce has arisen concerning the repre- sentation of employees of Grieder Machine Tool & Die Company, Bowling Green, Ohio, within the meaning of Section 9 (c) and Section 2 (6) and (7) of theNational Labor Relations Act. , 2. All employees of the Company employed at its Bowling Green, Ohio, plant, except supervisory and, clerical employees, specifically unit Frank Strother, plant, superintendent, Ray.excluding from such' Taylor, William Beck, and Ernest Warner, constitute a unit appro- priate for the purposes of collective bargaining within the meaning of Section 9 (b) of the Act. 3. International Union, United Automobile, Aircraft & Agriclil- tural Implement Workers of America, C. I. 0., has been designated and selected•by a majority of the employees in the above unit as their representative for the purposes of collective bargaining and is the exclusive representative of all employees in, said unit within the meaning of Section 9 (a) of the Act. CERTIFICATION OF REPRESENTATIVES By virtue of and pursuant to the power vested in the National Labor Relations Board by Section 9 (c) of the National Labor Relations Act; , GRIEDER MACHINE TOOL & DIE COMPANY \ 333 IT IS HEREBY CERTIFIED that International Union, United Automobile, Aircraft & Agricultural Implement Workers of America, C: I. 0., has been designated and selected by a majority, of all employees of Grieder Machine Tool & -Die Company employed at its Bowling Green, Ohio, plant; except supervisory and clerical employees, specifically excl"ud- ing from such unit Frank Strother, plant superintendent, Ray Taylor, William Beck, and Ernest Warner, as their representative for the purposes of collective bargaining, and that, pursuant to Section 9 (a) of the Act, International Union, United Automobile, Aircraft & Agricultural Implement Workers of America, C.
