Case No. R-3067 CERTIFICATION OF REPRESENTATIVES January 20, 1942 On December 15, 1941, the National Labor Relations Board issued its Decision and Direction of Election in the above-entitled pro- ceeding.) Pursuant to the Direction of Election, an election by secret ballot was conducted on January 7, 1942, under the direction and supervision of the Regional Director for the Ninth Region (Cin- cinnati, Ohio). On January 8, 1942, the Regional Director, acting pursuant to Article III, Section 9, of National Labor Relations Board Rules and Regulations-Series 2, as amended, issued and duly served upon the parties his Election Report. No objections to the conduct of the ballot or to the Election Report were filed by any of the parties. B., No. 92. 448 GENERAL MOTORS CORPORATION 449 of National Labor Relations Board Rules and Regulations-Series 2, as amended, IT IS HEREBY cERTIFLED that United Electrical, Radio & Machine Workers of America, affiliated with the Congress of Industrial Organ- izations, has been designated and selected by a majority of all metal finishers in Plant 2, of General Motors Corporation, Frigidaire Divi- sion, Dayton, Ohio, excluding metal-finish grinders, as their repre- sentative for the purposes of collective bargaining, and that, pursu- ant to the provisions of Section 9 (a) of the National Labor Relations Act, United Electrical, Radio & Machine Workers of America, affili- ated with the Congress of Industrial Organizations, is the exclusive representative of all such employees for the purposes of collective bargaining with respect to rates of pay, wages, hours of employment, and other conditions of employment.
