Case No. R-1535 CERTIFICATION OF REPRESENTATIVES November 18, 1939 On October 11, 1939, the National Labor Relations Board, herein called the Board, issued its Decision and Direction of Election 1 in the above-entitled proceedings. Pursuant to the Direction of Elec- tion, an election by secret ballot was conducted on November 2, 1939, under the direction and supervision of the Regional Director for the Nineteenth Region (Seattle, Washington). On November 4, 1939, the Regional Director, acting pursuant to Article III, Section 9, of National Labor . Relations Board Rules .and. Regulations- Series 2, issued and duly served upon the parties an Election Report. No objections to the conduct of the ballot or exceptions to the Elec- tion Report have been filed by any of the parties. No. 79. 915 916 DECISIONS OF NATIONAL LABOR RELATIONS BOARD IT IS HEREBY CERTIFIED that Cannery Workers and Farm Laborers Union, Local 20754, affiliated with the American Federation of La- bor, has been selected by a majority of the employees of Friday Harbor Canning Company, Friday Harbor, Washington, engaged in handling, processing, and canning fish, including those engaged in the warehousing of the finished product, but excluding executives, office employees, supervisory officials, tenders, and machinists, as their representative for the purposes of collective bargaining, and that pursuant to Section 9 (a) of the Act, Cannery Workers and Farm Laborers Union, Local 20754, is the exclusive representative of all such employees for the purposes of collective bargaining in respect to rates of pay, wages, hours of employment, and other conditions of employment.
