DECISION ON APPEAL STATEMENT OF THE CASE The Appellants seek our review under 35 U.S.C. § 134 of the final rejection of claims 1—36, 39, and 40, which are all the claims pending in the application. We have jurisdiction under 35 U.S.C. § 6(b). SUMMARY OF THE DECISION We AFFIRM. THE INVENTION Appeal 2014-007860 Application 13/291,723 The Appellants’ claimed invention is directed to systems and methods of accepting applications for purchases to be financed and tracking assets (Spec., para. 12). Claim 1, reproduced below, is representative of the subject matter on appeal. 1. A method comprising: accepting an application from a borrower, the application for a motor vehicle loan, and the application accepted by way of an electronic submission to a data center; determining that the borrower has an indicia of credit worthiness below a predetermined threshold, the determining by way of a processor of a computer system of the data center; offering the borrower a first loan with a requirement that a first motor vehicle purchased with the first loan comprise a first on-board device configured to provide location of the first motor vehicle; and if the borrower accepts tracking the loan payments made by the borrower, the tracking by way of a processor of a computer system; and reporting loan payments to a credit reporting agency, the reporting by way of a processor of a computer system.
