DECISION ON APPEAL
Appellant1 appeals under 35 U.S.C. § 134(a) from the Examiner's
March 13, 2017 decision finally rejecting claims 1, 3, 4, 6, 7, and 12-17
("Final Act."). We have jurisdiction over the appeal under 35 U.S.C. § 6(b ).
We affirm-in-part.

CLAIMED SUBJECT MATTER
Appellant's invention relates to a capacitor having a specific current
carrying capacity. Details of the claimed invention are set forth in
independent claim 1, which is reproduced below from the Claims Appendix
to the Appeal Brief:
1. A capacitor comprising:
at least one ceramic layer composed of a ceramic material
for capacitors using multilayer technology of formula (I):
