Case No. R-41048 CERTIFICATION OF REPRESENTATIVES October 8, 1942 On August 26, 1942, the National Labor Relations Board issued a Decision and Direction of Election in the above-entitled proceeding., Ptirsuant to the Direction of Election an election by secret ballot was conducted on September 16, 1942, under the direction and supervision' of the Regional Director for the Seventh Region (Detroit, Michigan). On September 17, 1942, the Regional Director, acting pursuant to Article III, Section 9, bf National Labor Relations Board Rules and Regulations-Series 2, as amended, issued and duly served upon the parties an Election Report on the ballot'. No objections to the conduct of the ballot or the Election report were filed by any of the parties. B., No. 182. 953 `954 DECISIONS OF NATIONAL LABOR RELATIONS BOARD ' of all production ' and maintenance employees , including the floorladies or supervisors, employed by the Company at its plant at Detroit, Michigan, but excluding the engineering staff , office help , uniformed guards, factory managers , factory superintendents , foremen, fore- ladies, sales employees, employees who have the -right to hire and dis- charge, and powerhouse employees as their representative - for the purposes of collective bargaining , and that, pursuant to Section 9 (a) of the Act , United Electrical , Radio and Machine Workers of America, Local 737, affiliated with the Congress of Industrial Organi- zations, is the exclusive representative of all such employees for the purposes of collective bargaining with respect to `rates of pay, wages, hours of employment , and other conditions of employment.
