Case No. R-3479 SUPPLEMENTAL DECISION AND CERTIFICATION OF REPRESENTATIVES April 13, 1942 On February 10, 1942, the National Labor Relations Board, herein called the Board, issued its Decision and Direction of Election in the above-entitled proceeding.' Pursuant to the Direction of Election, an election by secret ballot was conducted on March 5, 1942, under the direction and supervision of the Regional Director for the Fourth Region (Philadelphia, Pennsylvania). On March 9, 1942, the Re- gional Director, acting pursuant to Article III, Section 9, of National Labor Relations Board Rules and Regulations-Series 2, as amended, issued and duly served upon the parties his Election Report. I. 0----------------------------------------------- 107 Votes cast for Pettys Island Independent Oil Workers Union____ 115 Votes cast for neither_______________________________________ 3 On March 13, 1942, Oil Workers International Union, affiliated with the Congress of Industrial Organizations, herein called the Interna- tional,.filed objections to the Election Report, and, on March 23, 1942, filed further objections. The Board has considered the objections filed by the International and finds that the objections raise no substantial or material issues in respect to the conduct of the election or the Elec- tion Report. The objections are hereby overruled. By virtue of and pursuant to the power vested in the National Labor Relations' Board by Section 9 (c) of the National Labor Relations Act, 49 Stat. 449, and pursuant to Article III, Sections 8 and 9, of National Labor Relations Board Rules and Regulations-Series 2, as amended, IT Is HEREBY CERTIFIED that Oif Workers International Union, Cam- den Local 451, C. I. 0., has been designated and selected by.a majority of all employees of Cities Service Oil Company, Pettys Island Refinery Division, Pettys Island, New Jersey, including office and clerical em-.' ployees, but excluding supervisory employees and the office manager, as their representative for the purposes of collective bargaining and that, pursuant to Section 9 (a) of the National Labor; Relations Act, Oil Workers International Union, Camden Local 451, C.
